The Arctic Challenge is a car tour through Scandinavia. In this tour it is all about navigating, finding the smartest route, team-building and sensible driving.
Monique van Dijk of VANDIJK lawyers from Rotterdam and her brother Guillano are very ambitious and will not only face this challenge, but also want to raise € 20.000 for Kiwanis and the Safe School project.

The Puro! Lifestyle & Business event takes place from 4 thru 6 November in Hotel de Korenbeurs in Made. With exhibitors of top lifestyle products, interlaced with wonderful dishes and finger food. In short: taste, watch, listen & enjoy.

The outdoor version of the Rontonton lamp by designer Edward van Vliet can be seen for the first time at Linda Lagrand Interior Design during Rotterdam Feel Good.
From 16 up to and including 18 September you can admire and of course order a black and white version!

This fair targets the pleasant aspects of life. Here you will find luxury lifestyle products and wonderful culinary refreshments.

Salone Internationale del Mobile 2011

What? The most renowned annual international furniture & design fair in the world. Where? In the design city of the world: Milan.
And how wonderful was this 50th edition of the Salone? No one spoke of the economic crisis. All exhibitors took the Grand approach, both in the exhibition area, as well as spread out over the city in ruined factory buildings, artistic districts and hip shops.
Foscarini presented light sculptures in Superstudio Temporary Museum of New Design in an almost theatrical show with lounge muziek. Would you like to see? Click here.
And the most beautiful exposition this year was in the completely renovated old monastery in the middle of the city, the Chiostri dell'Umanitaria. Here Paola Lenti presented her outdoor- and indoor furniture collection, amidst sunny interior gardens and under splendid vaults decorated with lustrous frescos. A variation of fierce colour explosions and tranquil ton-sur-ton, in the ever high quality materials that we are used to in her designs. Click here for an impression.

This year, for the first time, trade fair Evisa will open its' doors to consumers. On Saturday 19 March you can enjoy the absolute best there is in the field of interior in the historic ambiance of the Grote Kerk The Hague.
During this event several top labels will be presenting their latest collections in fabrics, wall covering, furniture and accessories.

Leather home accessories in collection

As of this month, I have the most beautiful leather home accessories in collection. Simple but powerful designs, not subject to trends and hypes.
And not only easy on the eyes. The soft and supple and sometimes rough leather that is used, is obtained in a responsible manner It is eco leather, which means that the animals have had a better existence and that no heavy metals have been used in the process.
All products are made by hand in the Netherlands. True Dutch Design.
